A Six-Week Family Study for the Household of God

The Issachar Mandate

Understanding the Times and Knowing What to Do

From the tribe of Issachar, men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do.1 Chronicles 12:32

The Cosmic Kingdom traced the Father's rescue mission from the first rebellion to the reversal of Babel at Pentecost. That study ended with a call: be found faithful when the King returns.

This study picks up where that call landed.

The King told us what the world would look like before He returns. He told us what to watch for. He told us what to do. And He told us what would try to pull us off course.

The sons of Issachar did not predict the future. They read the present accurately against what they knew from the covenant, and they acted accordingly. That is what this study teaches your family to do.

Six weeks. Same table. Same household. The text open. The lamp burning. The work underway.

A Note on Kingdom Language

This study uses the word "kingdom" frequently. It is necessary to state clearly what we mean and what we do not mean.

When this study speaks of the Kingdom of God, it refers to the Father's present spiritual reign, entered by faith, operating through His Son. When it speaks of the Kingdom of Heaven, it refers to the future millennial reign of Messiah on earth, established at His return.

This study does not teach dominion theology. It does not teach that the church is called to "take the mountains" of culture, government, media, or education. It does not teach that believers are building the Kingdom of Heaven on earth before Christ returns. It does not teach the Seven Mountain Mandate or any form of the New Apostolic Reformation's cultural commission.

The assignment is stewardship, not conquest. The household holds. The King conquers. When you see "occupy until I come" in this study, it means faithful stewardship of what the Father has entrusted to your household. It does not mean seizing institutional power in His name.
